What is NOT covered

  • Upgrades to new versions (i.e. 5 to 6)

  • Hardware other than existing warranties

  • Network administration or configuration unless specifically stated in writing

  • Support for hardware not provided by AIC Rail

  • Travel or On-Site Labor

  • Customization of reports after 90 days

  • Customization of screens after 90 days

  • Operating System updates unless agreed upon under a separate contract

  • Database administration on platforms not provided by AIC

  • Computer with images applied by anyone other than AIC Rail

  • Any Windows Operating System released before Windows 10

  • Data recovery unless provided by annual contract with AIC Rail

  • Ransomware recovery

  • Data recovery caused by hardware failures unless the hardware is under warranty by AIC

Version Updates

  • As of January 1, 2021 AIC Rail will no longer support SMS Versions 4 or 5.

  • As of January 1, 2023 AIC Rail will only make bug fixes to WSMS Version 5 applications. AIC Rail will not make any AAR updates or feature requests.

  • AIC will provide quotes for programming services for an additional charge to legacy products
